Charette Battalion continues to grow by leaps and bounds this year, in part due to the recruiting efforts of you, Charette Battalion's cadets. Keep it up in 2008. With the incredible support we receive from the U.S. Marine Reserve Center , we are now able to utilize the resources of NAVSTA Anacostia in implementing our training goals as a field medical battalion. We cannot thank them enough.
I am looking forward to another terrific year, as I hope you all are. If any cadet has a training idea or suggestion, please send it up the chain.
On a very important note - By now most cadets have outgrown some of their uniforms and shoes/boots. Please bring those items to drill In this way we can build up a surplus of uniforms to aid future incoming cadets.
I would also ask that cadets recycle back to the unit any ribbon bars you can no longer use. This will greatly help to reduce costs to the unit and your shipmates.
